Developer's landmark deal

The North East developer behind the new Hitachi Rail Europe plant at Newton Aycliffe has completed a major leisure project in the Midlands.

Merchant Place Developmentshas completed a purpose-built development pre-let to David Lloyd Leisure as a Health & Racket Club at Worcester on land next to Worcester Warriors Rugby Football Club’s Sixways Stadium.

The 60,000 sq ft, two-storey, high quality, leisure centre providing indoor and outdoor pools, gym facilities as well as indoor and outdoor tennis courts was delivered ahead of time and on budget.
