Sales surge at printing group

Addo Printing has invested more than £40,000 in its operations and plans to take on new staff after more than tripling its turnover in 2012.

The company, based at Silverlink Business Park, Darlington, has invested in new equipment and has recruited a new production director after seeing its turnover increase from around £150,000 to just over £500,000 in the last six months..

The company has bought new machinery which can operate at high speeds to increase efficiency and reduce costs. It currently employs a team of eight with plans to increase this to 12 in the next year

Addo Printing specialises in printing services for print management and design companies as well as marketing and creative agencies all over the North of England.

Managing director of Addo Printing Keiran Bayley said: “2012 has already exceeded our own expectations and we have surpassed targets which is extremely encouraging in the current economic climate. However, we are passionate about continually expanding and enhancing our services so investment is essential in both technology and manpower.

Anthony Bayley, has recently joined Addo Printing from another North East printing company as production director bringing with him more than 20 years experience in the industry. He will be responsible for day to day production and management at Addo.
